Instructor Highlight

Wake boarding at Cutting Edge Wake Board and Water Ski School, we are pleased to introduce three of our talented wake board instructors, Zach Mathers, Jonathan Olinger and Josh Baldwin. They have a passion for the sport of water skiing, and enjoy furthering the love of wake boarding at the Cutting Edge. These young wake boarders are currently spending the summer season at Cutting Edge to earn money for their upcoming winter mission. At summer ends, all three will be traveling around the world touring orphanages in third world nations, including Africa, India , Thailand , and Indonesia . Cutting Edge Wake Board and Water Ski School is proud to sponsor them as they provide top class wakeboarding instruction at Irvine Lake . One of the primary goals behind their good-will travels, is to produce a first class documentary, capturing the suffering and pain of the people in these third world countries along with hope found in the midst.

Cutting Edge is proud to aid the boys in the pursuit of their goals and as such, would like our clients to be aware of some new additional services now provided by Zach, Jonothan and Josh. All three have extensive film making experience and as part of their fund raising efforts would like to offer you the opportunity to have your experience at Cutting Edge captured professionally on film for you and your family to enjoy over and over. Zach Mathers

Zach has placed in the top 5 in many wakeboarding contests in the west coast regions and has extensive knowledge of wakeboarding. He has had the privilege of filming with elite wakeboarding filmers alongside professionals of the sport. He is with Cutting Edge to pass on his skills to you.

Jonathan Olinger

Jonathan grew up on a private lake in Colorado . He has filmed wakeboarding since the inception of the sport with many talented riders. His professional grade filming techniques have been used by professional water-skiers and competitive wake boarders to analyze their form. This is a valuable tool for anyone at any level in the sport of wakeboarding. Have him shoot you with his industry standard three chip cameras.

Josh Baldwin

Josh grew up on the same lake as Zach and has logged hundreds of hours driving wakeboarding boats and enjoying the sport. Wakeboarding is a passion of Josh's. Josh has been around the world shooting photography and has shot in the canals of Venice , the Isle of Capri, and Alps of Switzerland. He also has shot wakeboarding numerous times at his home lake. Allow him to make you a portfolio of your water skiing.

Have Your Wake Board Lesson Filmed

As part of your Cutting Edge experience, have your wake board lesson or family fun outing professionally filmed, edited and put to the music of your choice to take home for years of enjoyment. Proceeds go to help fund Zach, Jonothan and Josh on their good will quest to bring awareness of current issues in third world country orphanages.
