I аƖѕο found іn thе power shot іt ѕау′s thе optical zoom mаkеѕ іt easier tο shoot thе sunlight.AƖѕο i need something fοr whеn wе water ski аnԁ somebody take a picture οf υѕ іt іѕ nοt аƖƖ blurry.     The Canon without a doubt! The SX10 IS would be your best choice.

    Optical zoom is the only true zoom, digital “zoom” simply crops the picture and tosses out pixels, don’t EVER use digital zoom!

    Optical zoom has nothing to do with sunlight (except being able to zoom closer to it).

    Blurry photos are always the fault of the photographer for asking something of a camera that it simply can’t do or using the wrong settings for the job.

    Taking photos in bright sunlight (as I assume would be the case if you’re water skiing) is something even the smallest little P&S can do just fine.

    The best thing you could do for yourself is to learn a bit about photography – your results will become much better.
